VR training experience

Onboarding new hires can be very challenging, and first impressions can have a lasting impact, so it’s important to get it right. From early performance to brand advocacy and loyalty, there’s a lot at stake. But with so much to cover in a short space of time, how do you make onboarding experiences effective and memorable?

We developed an immersive VR induction to provide an innovative and self-directed element to a broader, blended journey – helping save valuable HR and L&D resource. The experience is set in a virtual version of our head office in Berkshire, and consists of a range of missions. Users have to navigate the office; find key teams and amenities; follow safety procedures; and locate fire exits, firefighting equipment, first aiders and first-aid boxes.

It’s a great way to give people all the information they need to hit the ground running, safely. We deliver learning through the right context, at the right time, and in a memorable way. We’re also able to boost user engagement and motivation by including a gamified design.

Our VR Induction experience allows people to:

  • Explore their new workplace in stunning VR

  • Feel valued and invested in from day one, with high-quality development

  • Learn where to find first aiders and first-aid boxes

  • Find their bearings and important locations like fire exits, break-glass units and firefighting equipment

  • Locate other places around the office, such as meeting rooms, toilets and the kitchen

  • Understand and relate to our well-being initiatives
